Verde Valley Internet is a WISP,

a Wireless Internet Service Provider.

A WISP doesn’t need to bring wire to your location, making it a good solution for serving rural areas where telcos and cable companies wouldn't invest. A WISP mounts antennas on towers (or atop buildings) to transmit signal, and will install a modem on the customer’s home or building to receive the wireless signal.
