Verde Valley Internet is a WISP:

A Wireless Internet Service Provider.

A WISP doesn’t need to bring wires or cable to your location, making it a good solution for serving rural & non-rural areas where Telco's and cable companies wouldn't invest. A WISP mounts antennas on towers (or atop buildings) to transmit signal, and will install an external modem on the customer’s home or building to receive the wireless signal.
